About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant heart of New York’s Chinatown, Supreme Restaurant offers an authentic taste of Shanghainese and classic Chinese cuisine that truly delights the senses. Specializing in dim sum and Shanghai-style dishes, this eatery welcomes guests with the enticing aromas of freshly steamed dumplings and sizzling stir-fries, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for both quick lunches and leisurely family meals.

The standout offerings here are undeniably the Crab Meat & Pork Soup Dumplings and the legendary Xiao Long Bao—delicately folded dumplings bursting with rich, savory broth and tender fillings that melt on your tongue. Complement these with the crispy, flavorful Scallion Pancakes, or the comforting Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, each bite chewy yet crisp, showcasing Supreme’s mastery over traditional techniques. For noodle lovers, the Pan Fried Noodles with Vegetables and Eel Noodles offer perfectly balanced textures and subtle layers of seasoning, while dishes like General TSO's Chicken and Sesame Chicken deliver that beloved sweet-savory bite many diners crave.

The menu extends further into comforting soups like the gently spiced Hot & Sour Soup and wholesome Chicken with Corn Soup, both served piping hot to warm the soul. Casserole options such as the Subgum Casserole and the boldly flavored Fish Head Casserole offer heartier flavors perfect for sharing. Those seeking authentic Shanghainese favorites like Zhajiangmian (noodles with soybean paste) and Shanghai Fried Rice will find these classics executed with genuine care.

Excellent place for XLBs (crab flavor) and we really enjoyed the scallion pancakes. Service is fast and attentive, food is hot and fresh (fun to see the dumplings madd). We didnt eat much since it was a quick stop for us, but the tourists around us enjoyed the Chinese American dishes. Enjoy!

While walking in china town we stopped here to have lunch. Although they were busy we were seated very quickly and served even faster. The crab soup dumplings were amazing and the vegetable lo mein was so fresh and seasoned well.

A chill and restful oasis amidst a stressful, filthy, stinky and noisy Chinatown. The food was fresh and tasty, the service inviting and comforting. I visited with my 96 year old MIL in a wheelchair and everyone here was very accommodating and pleasant. We'll be back.

If I remember correctly on the weekdays there is a discount on meals under “meat” on the menu from 11:00am to 3pm. I came here to eat with my bf for the first time and it’s amazing! Delicious food for $10 (we took advantage of the discount hehehe) Tip is not included so don’t forget to tip the waiters! Overall my favorite meal I tried so far is Sesame Chicken, I would definitely recommend to come eat ^_^

The food here is very good. Scallion pancakes, soup dumplings, fried fish filet and entrees. I highly recommend eating here (family style).

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was cheap but made me full with flavor and extraordinary taste! The food was seriously very good and these were the best dumplings I've had! However, I would like to add that you should clean up a bit and tidy up the space. Other than that, this was an amazing experience, thank you!

My daughter loves this place. We have been coming for years and she can’t get enough of the soup dumplings. We always get the Shanghai fried rice and the sesame chicken. The service is fast, and the staff is really friendly. You won’t get any cell phone service here, but it’s a plus, forces you to fully engage with the person you are with.

Had a delightful dining experience, the restaurant located in a prime spot between Chinatown and Little Italy. The Shanghainese food was incredibly tasty, reminiscent of the dishes I enjoyed in Shanghai and a signature dish I had in Hong Kong. The ambiance was clean and tidy, which added to the overall experience. One of the best features was that the dumplings 小籠包, 酸辣湯were made to order, resulting in them being fresh and juicy, definitely a must-try. Overall, this restaurant is good for finding authentic Shanghainese cuisine, and fit for business casual dinning.
